The Oculus Quest 2 will have more room for all of your apps and games

Best answer: The Oculus Quest 2 is available in 64GB and 256GB storage options. The original Oculus Quest also came in a 64GB option, but 256GB is twice the size of its 128GB predecessor.

More storage for the Oculus Quest 2

The Oculus Quest 2 is sold in two models: one with 64GB of storage, and one with 256GB of storage. The only difference between these two models is the amount of storage that comes with them.

The Oculus Quest 2 retails for $299 for the 64GB model, and $399 for the 256GB model. Facebook not only increased the amount of storage for for the highest-end Oculus Quest 2 model (which was 128GB in the first generation), but it also lowered the price of each model by $100 when compared to the original Oculus Quest.

The Oculus Quest 2 64GB model features the same amount of storage as the original Oculus Quest base model but retails for $100 less. The Oculus Quest 2 256GB model sports double the amount of storage as the highest-spec original Oculus Quest, which was 128GB of storage. That model also retails for $100 less than the equivalent Oculus Quest model.

Oculus Quest 2 A fully-upgraded experience

The Oculus Quest 2 is a full-generational leap above the original Oculus Quest. It's not just a fancy new exterior or a more comfortable head strap, though — everything else inside that's been upgraded as well. From the display, which features 50% more pixels than the original Oculus Quest, to the processor, which is more than three-generations newer than the one found in the original Oculus Quest, you're getting a massively upgraded experience all-around.

Just make sure to pick up a great battery pack or two to keep the action going, because all that extra horsepower means that, unfortunately, the battery life on the Oculus Quest 2 lasts about half an hour less than the Oculus Quest.

If the Oculus Quest 2 is anything like the original Oculus Quest, it's going to be hard to find. Facebook has improved seemingly everything with the second-generation Oculus Quest, making this the VR console to get.
